Fernando Esmeraldo is the current Founder and Board Chairman at Status Capital.

Fernando was also Founder and President of ECS Capital and SGFCR, having also founded PTREL Sarl, Widerproperty, XNA Solutions and STGT Health.

Fernando previously held Executive Management positions at PCapital, Lehman Brothers and Citibank, and has a degree in Management from ISCTE and an MBA from London Business School.

João Fonseca is a board member and CEO of Status Capital. Previously, he was a Director at ECS SGFCR and Orey Financial.

Graduated in Civil Engineering from IST, Master in real estate from ISEG and MBA from AESE Business School, João started his career as a civil engineer at Teixeira Duarte.

Ana Barros is a Board Member of Status Capital, ABANCA and REN. She has previously held positions in investment banking, most recently, as Managing Director at Barclays Investment Bank. She has also worked at Citigroup and Nomura.

Ana has a degree in Management from the Faculty of Economics of Porto, and an MBA from Cass Business School, as well as, several certifications in corporate governance (Insead, HBS).

Carlos Teodoro is the Chief Financial Officer of Status Capital, having previously been Deputy Chief Financial Officer at ECS Capital. Carlos has experience as an Accounting Technician at Truenumbers, having a degree in Management from the European University, with a Specialization in Banking and Financial Markets from ISLA.

João is a Director at Status Capital. He previously held the position of VP in Investment Banking at ING Bank in UK (Infrastructure Finance) and Portugal (Clients Coverage).

João has also worked at UTAP, Espírito Santo Investment Bank in Structured Finance and at Deloitte in the Financial Services Industry. João holds a master’s degree in electrical and computer Engineering from IST and an MBA from Nova, Católica, and MIT Sloan School of Management.

António Santos Silva works as a consultant in real estate management and development, having previously been Advisor to the Executive Committee at Caixa Gestão de Ativos and Chairman of the Executive Committee of SANEST (Grupo Águas de Portugal).

António holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Military Academy, and a master's degree in Structures from Instituto Superior Técnico and in Real Estate Management and Valuation from ISEG.

António Marques Nora is a consultant in forest asset management, having previously been Fund Manager in the Atlantic Forest, SGOIC.

António has experience in Agricultural and Agroforestry Project Management and Consulting, and has a degree in Forest Engineering from UTAD, with a post-graduate degree in Real Estate Valuation from ESAI.

Cristina Bonito is a lawyer at Status Capital, previously being a lawyer at PTREL Management and at PESA, with a secondment at Portugal Ventures, in venture capital.

Previously, she held positions as Business Developer and Head of the Bankruptcy & Corporate Department at Whitestar Servicing, S.A. Cristina holds a degree in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon.

Pedro Lara assumes the functions of Compliance Officer at Status Capital, having previously been a Consultant at Quidgest and a Compliance Officer at Intermoney Valores - Broker in the Capital Market.

Pedro was also Administrator at SIEMCA - a Money Market Broker, having a degree in Economics from ISEG.

Rita Esmeraldo takes on ESG Officer role at Status Capital, having previously been a Sustainability Services Consultant at PwC.

Rita holds a bachelor’s degree in management from NOVA School of Business and Economics, and a master's degree in Global Business and Sustainability from the Rotterdam School of Management.

Bruno Silva is an Associate at Status Capital, having internship experience in Alternative Investments at IM Gestão de Ativos.

Bruno has a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Les Roches, a Real Estate Development & Asset Management Course from Cornell University and a post-graduation in Real Estate Management and Valuation from ISEG.

Vanessa Silva assumes the functions of Secretary of Administration at Status Capital, having previously been Secretary of Administration at ECS SGFCR, S.A.

Vanessa was also a consultant at the Wall Street Institute, having a degree in International Relations from the Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa.

Fabiana Galvinas is Secretary of Administration at Status Capital, having previously been Secretary of Administration at ECS SGOIC.

Fabiana was also the coordinator of the Intergeneration Intergeneration Project - Parish Council of Charneca de Lisboa and has a degree in Social Work from the Instituto Superior de Serviço Social de Lisboa - Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa.
